In this managerial accounting tutorial I discuss the difference between fixed and variable costs within a company. Total fixed costs do not change over time (unless outside of the relevant range) but they change as fixed cost per unit, while total variable costs change (depending on number of units sold), their per unit cost remains the same. Watch the tutorial to understand the difference between the two explained simply using a "cost to cost driver activity" graph.
